$95,000 Mediated Settlement in Defective Door Case

Our elderly client had become trapped between slidding doors at a retail store when the motion sensors failed.  When the doors opened again, our client fell to the ground and suffered several broken ribs.  We were able to settle her case for $95,000 at mediation.  The defendant also agreed to bear the entire cost of the mediator’s fee.
