Policy Limits Settlement for Stranded Motorist

We were able to negotiate a policy limits settlement for our client who was stranded on the side of I-95 following an accident. Our client was outside of her car after an accident involving minor damage and was exchanging information with another driver when a truck failed to stop in time, pinning her against the “jersey barrier.” As a result of this tragic accident, doctors had to amputate her leg. We were able to negotiate a policy limits settlement with the negligent driver and also were able to negotiate down some of her medical bills, as our client did not have health insurance at the time of the crash.
