Driver Pulls Out in Front of Bicyclist

Our client was participating in a 100 mile bicycling event when the driver of a van pulled out directly in front of him as he came around a blind corner. Our client lost control of his bicycle, was ejected from it, and ended up in a ditch on the side of the road with a fractured sternum, several broken ribs, and a fracture of one of the vertebrae in his neck. He was unable to return to work for approximately three months.

This case was settled without filing a lawsuit.
